from the dept. Canadian company, PalmDesktop.com, plans to launch a "customisable wireless portal", called MyPalmDesktop.com, on April 1, 2000. The free service aims to provide users with a starting point to access the Internet from mobile devices. Release notes claim that "users will be able to create a personal view of the Internet for each of their mobile devices (eg. palm-size PDAs or cell phones).
