Beloved Ebiquity Poster Gets Real Job
Annoucement Posted by on Friday June 02, @08:27AM
from the Local-Boy-Does-Good dept.
I would like to announce that this will be my last post for a while... I have graduated from UMBC and have taken a job with the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST). I will still be around, but I probably won't be posting as regularly as I do now.

First off, my real name is Scott Rose. Harry Chen, the driving force behind PCSIG and Ebiquity.org drafted me to help out editing the site. Given my limited mental capacity and inability to take anything seriously, I nevertheless worked hard as one of the trained ninji in posting stories/articles I thought would be of interest to the community. Since my research area is security, you may have noticed some of the posts were from such sources as InfoWar.com, but they were important as pervasive computing takes off and becomes part of our everyday life.

Anyway, ebiquity.org has not seen the last of me just yet... I'll get back to posting when things get more settled. Until then, there is still a cadre of ninji ready to continue the work.
