The Timeport 270 is the company's first Bluetooth-capable mobile phone. Bluetooth is a short-distance wireless technology that eliminates the need for cables among electronic devices such as PCs, printers, handheld computers, mobile phones and headsets.

The new phone, which is set for shipment in December, also features a large display and a hands-free speakerphone that can be used from as far as 10 feet away.
